| ever want to be somewhere else? sometimes its just anywhere but here. others its a specific place, or a group of places. well at this juncture, i want to be in the city. chicago, new york. and not just for a visit. for good. yes. thats what i want. so. how do i get there? we shall see.

| so. i realize. i really really used to use this a lot more back in the day.
i had to go search for a date 2 years back to remind myself of the exact date i started working at media graphics.
it was may 10th 2005. so i missed my 2 year anniversary by 6 days. but lynne said she should do a lunch this week to celebrate :) sweet.
but as i was saying. i enjoyed reading my entries from 2 years ago. so i need to start writing at least once a week so i can come back and read it a few years down the road.
so. again i try. :)

|  finishing a cup of coffee. sitting in the library of a quaint bed and breakfast in union pier michigan. i have enjoyed the serene quietness. breakfast on the deck overlooking lake michigan. it was just beautiful. i had the opportunity to visit my friend joel this weekend who is working here at the pine garth inn all summer. i am glad i took him up on the offer because i really needed to get away from the daily grind. i know that sounds funny, because i wouldn't really call what i do for a living a "grind" but lately i have felt quite burnt out. i think just spending sometime away in God's creation and with creative people has given me a new energy to return home and create. we shall see.
